A credit to his profession. Approachable, kind and thorough.Although I have a progressive condition I always feel so much better and far more confident in managing my disease when I have seen Dr Dempsey. Would recommend him totally.

Since Dr Dempsey took over as my chest consultant a couple of years ago, I now have a much better understanding of my condition and how the respiratory system works. He always takes the time to listen and is keen to hear how things have been going since the last clinic appointment. He always goes over things in depth, which is great as it makes matters clearer to understand. I always leave Dr Dempsey's clinic feeling optimistic as I know that he will always do his best to make sure I am receiving the best help and care possible.

Dr Dempsey is probably the best doctor I've ever had - and that's quite a few. He always has time to discuss any problems and I never feel he is rushing me out of his clinic. He always explains in layman's terms exactly what is wrong and how he is going to sort it. I always feel he will liaise closely with any other doctors involved in my care and he always copies me in on any communications with these doctors. Can't speak highly enough of him.

This was my first visit to the respiratory clinic. Dr Dempsey was very approachable putting us at ease on first greeting us. He was very pleasant and helpful. He explained in detail in a manner that was understandable to us. He was thorough in his investigations and was patient in giving advice.
